HOW TO FIND GOOD PEOPLE FOR YOUR BUSINESS
Hi, this is Tony Javier, founder of Real Estate Masters and Strategic Organization and in this video, I wanna talk to you about finding good people. So, have you ever asked yourself, “How can I find better people and how can I get them in my business to help it run more efficiently?” This is a question that most entrepreneurs ask themselves and probably have the most struggle with.
I figured out three different things that I did that helped me to go from where I was with all the wrong people that I had to fire to having 14 staff members that do 99% of the business for me.
So, number one. Quit saying, “It’s hard to find good people.” When you say, “It’s hard to find good people,” chances are it’s gonna be hard to find good people.
Number two is you have to realize that your energy is what attracts like energy. A lot of us business owners, we get stressed out, we get down. For us to be able to attract good people, we need to have good energy in our business. Even if things aren’t going the way that we want them to, we gotta have good energy and keep our energy up because without that energy, without that good vibe that we put out there, we’re not gonna get those good people that we attract into our business.
And number three. Do you have really good people that either work for you or maybe are vendors for you? What I found is if you’ve got good people working for you, they are probably the best source of referrals for other good people because like people hang around with like people. If you have good people on your team, whether they’re employees or contractors, continuously ask other people, “Do you know someone that fits this role?” You need to be continuously recruiting for good people in your business, whether that’s people you need in your business as employees or whether that’s contractors or vendors that you need for your business.
So, those are the three things that I wanted to share with you that I promise will help you to attract better people. Again, just about seven years ago, I had all the wrong people in my business, had to fire them all, and once I figured out these three things, it completely changed the game and now I’m 99% hands-off with my business and it runs without me.
